April Showers
The Details for Project Life 2017: SG Project Life is a year-long scrapping challenge. The goal is to stay current scrapping the year. There is not a set form, you can take daily photos, scrap weekly layouts, monthly layouts or whatever works for you.SG Project Life is similar to a Project 52 or 365 which are year long challenges of creating 52 weekly layouts (one for each week of the year) or taking 365 photos (a photo a day) and documenting them. We don't want overwhelm anyone with daunting requirements so we simply give you the challenge to document your year then let you approach this project in a way that meets your individual goals. Here are some typical formats our members have chosen: One layout for each week of the year (single or double pages) A double page layout covering two weeks One layout (single or double paged) per month A monthly calendar style layout with or without a companion page. Scrap the significant events from each month-- some months with more pages than others. Use "Pocket Life" products to document your year. You can choose one of these formats or create your own. The way you go about it is really up to you; however, we do have a few requirements if you wish to participate in the "official" SG Project Life 2017 Challenge and be eligible for the associated prizes.Requirements:You must post your layouts to the SG: Project Life 2017 Gallery in order for them to earn points toward the quarterly drawings.Your photos must be from the current year. In order to receive the participation prize you will need to post 12 layouts (one for each month of 2016) in the gallery. If you are a hybrid or traditional scrapper, you are welcome to join the challenge too. Simply post photos or scans of your finished pages.Prizes:Quarterly Drawing Prize - Digital Layout TemplateWinners will be randomly drawn from members who post layouts to the SG Project Life Gallery. Each layout uploaded to this Gallery earns 1 point, a double page earns 2, with a maximum number of points for a month being 4. You may upload more than 4 layouts if you are catching up, but you will only get 4 points for that month. Each person who completes layouts for the entire year of 2016 (at least one layout for each month of 2016) will receive a participation prize for staying up to date! So, who's joining me? I wrote and article for the blog with some of my favorite tips. April Showers
Here is the updated tracking sheet. The top chart shows how many (up to 4) layouts you've posted in each month for the drawing. The lower chart tracks which months you've completed at least one layout for. As always, let me know if I missed something! I don't think my EHD and regular drive synched correctly at some point, so please tell me if I've lost some of your layouts! CRS
I'm with you, April! I finished last year, but didn't post them all. I spent most of the Mid-West Meetup catching up on them, lol. I still have to create a cover and title page, then I will be on the hunt for sales, lol!

A-M
I think I might join you this year for this and create a weekly page. Last year I started monthly pages and only got two completed.... the year just went a little crazy ( not bad things). I hope to go back and start again with last year and still do monthly pages but different to the two I had started. But here I will share my weekly ones for this year. I wrote all my journaling for 2016 when it was still current, but I only have a few months of pages completed. We can catch up together.

Scrapin Pat
I posted my start today ... hoping to keep up. I have decided to keep it simple and if sometimes I scrap weekly and sometimes monthly so be it as long as I capture the stories. I actually managed to do monthly layouts through October last year although I stopped posting.

MariJ
Well, I've decided to join the party! I’ve wanted to get back to Project Life, but wasn’t sure how to plan it out and wanted to use Costco’s 8.5 x 11 book printing but was wary of scrapping in that size. I was intrigued with Susie Roberts “Daily Life Templates” and watched the videos, but still wasn’t sure until I’ve seen how impressively Ngaire’s been using them. So I finally dove in and bought them at the last sale and after playing with them I’m glad I did! What I decided to do was to take each month one at a time and scrap photos and journaling in whatever way suits me and to also do a page of my layouts for the month and just keep adding on through the year. I noticed Jody included her layouts on her PL and I like that idea. So, here is my January 2017 Pg 1 & 2. Layout page #3 is ready but I will post it after a bit not to hog the MB. 2017 Jan 1 2017 Jan
