Jack0617
I am new to digital scrapping and have just purchased the curled torn edges but I am not sure how to use these on my layout. Is there a tutorial available? Thank you in advance for any help available.

jenrou
There may be some one who uses Paint Shop Pro on this site. Most of us use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. A few use Gimp. Good luck.
April Showers
You should have something like blending modes in PSP. Unfortunately, most of the team members that used PSP switched over to PSE or Photoshop a while ago. Could you give us a link or the name of the set you purchased so we can figure out the best way to help you?

A-M
Sheryl with your program can you erase the paper layer below the curled edge along the edge that then makes the curled edge look real.
April Showers
Each curled edge come in several formats. If you can't open the psd file, simply open SNU_SSEmb_CurlTornEdges-3a-TornWhite.png and SNU_SSEmb_CurlTornEdges-3b-Paper in PSP. The paper layer needs to be on top of the torn white layer. Both layers need to be above the paper you are adding the torn edge to on your layout. You can use a blending mode with a color overlay or paper to color the template layers. Then, like Ann-Marie mentioned, you'll erase the extra paper to make your curled edge look realistic. I like to use a layer mask to erase the extra paper because it is easy to change if I move things around. Let us know if you have more questions!
