Belle
Hi there, I have not scrapped in so long I can't even remember how to do simple things. I want to make a photo lighter in PSE 15. I used to CTRL J and then....blank. Please help. I see the Scrap Girls site has had a face lift but I was totally lost when I first got in. I sort of found my way. It is really lovely. MariJ
I’m so glad you found your way Belle and it’s amazing that right before this I was thinking of you and missing seeing you around! I’m not sure if this is what you mean, but when I lighten a photo in PSE13 I go to Enhance>Adjust Lighting>Brightness/Contrast. Sometimes I also duplicate the photo and then use a “screen” blending mode on it and adjust the opacity sliders until I like it. I’m sure there are lots of other ways to do that so I know I’ll learn more from your question. Sure hope to see you and your layouts around - your Grands must all be so grown up. Boatlady
You could also try Ctrl L to adjust levels using the sliders that appear in box on the screen. So good to see you back here, please stay to play with us.
Belle
Thanks Debby. I managed to lighten them and now I must resize and I can't remember the pixels per inch. Old age is really setting in.
Florida granny
Hi there, Belle! I'm so glad you found your way here again. If you are re-sizing for upload or for email, usually you change the photo or layout to 72 pixels per inch.
