Howdy all. Hope you're well it's finally starting to look like Spring here in Kentucky. We are starting to get blooms on the trees and the grass is returning - so with that in mind, I'd like to challenge you to create a layout using green as the main color.

Feel free to use any variation of green! Emerald, spring, mint, whatever as long as it's in the green family.

How

The challenge will run from April 1st - April 30th Create a layout featuring your layout with green as the primary color and post it in the gallery, and then share it here with us in this thread as well.

  • I ask that the layout utilize at least 30-50% of items from my store. (Don’t overthink that percentage, just make sure some of my items are used pretty please)

Prize

A $5 coupon good for anything in my store.

Everyone that follows the guidelines will be entered into the drawing!

And please share! When you post, tell us about a little bit about your layout if you'd like.

Here are a few products that may help you adding touches of green to your layout, or just maybe a little extra stir to your creative process:

I pretty much use the AFT Designs Absolutely Blended tools in at least 50% of my LOs (maybe more). I just love to create an original background and tailor it to what I envision. These overlays are my most heavily used staples. For this LO, I was trying to blend blue (lake) to green (mountains) to blue (sky). It was a challenge, and I had to use two of the blending tools plus part of an antique edge to achieve it. There was an inspiration page I found on Pinterest, and when I was documenting for the SG gallery, I found out it was a link to a store and template, so it isn't linked here. I hope South Dakota Black Hill Hiking is enough green for the challenge.
