June Monthly Challenges

Recommended Posts

It’s June and almost half of 2019 is over - amazing!

Here are the June Monthly Challenges which can be completed at any time during the month.  Please remember to post your layouts in the Monthly Challenge Gallery and then add a link to each page in this thread so that we can leave some love.  You can use your June Monthly Challenge Layouts for the June Challenge Chase so be sure to also post a link in that thread so you are eligible for the monthly coupon.
Don’t forget to leave comments on other members pages.  Have fun!

Challenge #1: Leave Some Love
I don’t know about you, but I enjoy reading other members’ comments on my pages and I like writing comments on theirs.  For this challenge you must leave at least one comment per day on a layout and post a link to it here in this thread.  You don’t have to leave one comment each day and can do more than one each day as long as you have 30 by the end of the month.  At the end of this month you should have 30 comments, but it’s ok if you have more!

*** Please leave ALL of your links in one post (see my example here in the next post).
For instance after you leave your first link for each subsequent one you should “edit” that post so that all of your links are in ONE post.   That will make it easier to track and ensure that you are credited for the challenge at the end of the month.
When you finish this challenge, dont forget to post in the June Challenge Chase thread!  :)

Challenge #2: Scrap a Sequence
For this challenge you must scrap at least
3 photos that show a sequence of events.   For example you could scrap a child jumping in a pool - before during and after or a nest, egg and baby bird.  Remember the photos must be a SEQUENCE of happenings, not 3 separate photos.

Challenge #3: Create in Pastel
For this challenge you will be creating a page in pastel colors.  You can use pastel papers, embellishments and a photo in pastel hues or you can apply a treatment to make your photos that way.  However you do it, your layout must show mostly pastel shades.

Challenge #4: Show us Your Postcards
For this challenge you will be scrapping a place you’ve been or a place you’d like to go — postcard style!
Tips for making postcards: Create a 8” x 6” and scrap your place.  You can then post as is or place the postcard on a larger page and scrap it, but any way you do it your card should resemble a postcard.

Remember a postcard should show a place and it’s name and anything else you’d like to include!

I’ll be posting my layouts as I complete them and leave links in this thread too!

I LOVE the idea for "leave some love!" These sweet comments have made me feel so welcomed here at ScrapGirls, and being the gallery-viewing addict that I am, I also like to spread the love around.

If I get the way to single space it won't take up so much room!

#1-Dady-World Tour

#2-Pastel - Boatlady

This was SOOOooooo frustrtating to all of us until I discoverd (quite by mistake) that if you hold down your “Shift” key while hitting return you should only go to the next line, not double-space.

That works on my Mac, but I think it worked for everyone!
You’re right, I realized that these posts will get quite long, but it’s nice to know we’ve got lots of commenting!  :)

Now can you tell me how to get rid of the first one?  I redid it but can't get rid of the original -- thought I was editing but apparently did that wrong as well.---MY BAD

Oh Geraldine you do SO very well for English not being your language and I always enjoy your comments.
And you get better and better - your words on Nuage and the mouse were so good!   Don’t be afraid, we all understand!

Funny, isn’t it and almost silly!   I discovered it quite by accident.   :D

Sure, another silly hidden action that once you know it seems too easy!   Go to “Options” next to “Edit” (orange blocks at the end of your post) and click the arrow.   The drop-down will say “Delete” and you’re good-to-go!
