Had surgery - tonsils, knee, hysterectomy, shoulder, foot and of course the dreaded oral surgery/wisdom teeth! * 6. Have a tattoo 7. Served on Jury Duty * 8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name - Mrs. McGrath * 9. Been fired - when I had mono and my sick time ran out because I was at the company less than 6 months 10. Lived in more than 3 states 11. Like coffee *12. Went on a vacation this year - does visiting my sister count? 13. Television Junkie *14. Still talk to High School best friend - still talk to a good High School friend, not sure we were besties 15. Afraid of Dentist 16. Snuck into a movie *17. Been on TV or the radio - TV once when interviewed at a Dr’s office; on radio once when I won a contest 18. Stayed awake for 24 hours - not my “thing” but recently on that flight-cancelled, then awful bus ride-to-Rochester trip I actually was awake for 24 hours 19. Do you have a movie you watch over and over? - A Christmas Story..love it 4. Like spicy food* 5. Had surgery - gallbladder removed, wisdom teeth removed, dental implant *6. Have a tattoo - a moon and stars on my ankle 7. Served on Jury Duty - had to show up a few times but never served 8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name - I remember a few stories from Kindergarten but not the teacher 9. Been fired*10. Lived in more than 3 states - Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, California11. Like coffee - does it count blended with ice, lots of cream and topped with whipped cream?12. Went on a vacation this year - with boys schedule I can't remember last vacation we went on*13. Television Junkie - always have hulu on in a little corner of my monitor*14. Still talk to High School best friend - not daily, but we live in the same town and I see her often15. Afraid of Dentist - used to be but my new dentist is really cool which makes it better16. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name- no, but last night at a dinner party a friend listed all her teachers names! 9. Been fired--yes several times by my son when I worked for him...clashing of family ideas 10. Lived in more than 3 states- yes and in Germany 11. Like coffee- yes please 12. Went on a vacation this year. my life is a vacation 13. Television Junkie-no 14. Still talk to High School best friend- not really but others friends...some moved to Florida too. 15. Afraid of Dentist- not afraid just not a fan. 16. Snuck into a movie- yup a few 17. Been on TV or the radio- yes both. 18. Stayed awake for 24 hours- yes 19. Had surgery - yep...six under anesthesia. 6. Have a tattoo* 7. Served on Jury Duty - yes...it was a federal drug trial years ago...fascinating and sad...* 8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name - Mrs. Pusey 9. Been fired10. Lived in more than 3 states * 11. Like coffee - 2 cups every morning* 12. Three strikes and out case and a very young man was facing a very long time in prison. He had a girlfriend who was heavily pregnant testifying. Life was going to be tough for all involved. Trial went on for 3 days and jury was deliberating when suddenly we were dismissed. When I was on bed rest while expecting, I watched a lot of Cinderella with my then two year old Cathrine, but I don't generally like to re-watch movies. *4. Like spicy food - I like it spicy, but don't really enjoy things with much after-burn *5. Had surgery - just a little tumor removed from my index finger 6. Have a tattoo 7. Served on Jury Duty - I get selected, but they always let me go before the trial starts. *8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name - Mrs. Stewart isn't around anymore, but she gave me a wedding present and my mom kept in contact with her for ages. 9. Been fired 10. Lived in more than 3 states - just three - California, Utah ( I went to BYU) and Oregon 11. Like coffee *12. Went on a vacation this year 13. Television Junkie - I would much rather read a book *14. Still talk to High School best friend - does Facebook count? If so, then yes. 15. Afraid of Dentist - never - my daughter is a dentist, so that would be awkward. 16. Snuck into a movie *17. Like spicy food *5. Had surgery - many times, and I have a double hernia surgery coming up after I lose enough weight (lose weight - YAY! surgery - Yuck!) 6. Have a tattoo 7. Served on Jury Duty 8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name (*)9. Been fired - not quite fired, but "forced to resign" a couple of times. The jobs were both very stressful, so I was happy to leave the headaches, heartaches and tears behind. I love teaching, but I need the proper materials to teach chemistry and I am not good at classroom control.(*)10. Went on a vacation this year - we try to go to the North Shore of Lake Superior - gorgeous forests, numerous waterfalls and beautiful lakeviews(*)13. Been on TV or the radio - Newspaper - A photos of our huge snowy sea serpent (pg 1, pg 2, whole LO) made the cover of our small town newspaper, and we were mentioned years ago in my mom's tiny town newspaper - "my family" was in town to visit "my grandparents".*18. Stayed awake for 24 hours - I just did this last week with my darling hubby to clear the house for the carpet cleaners in preparation for a wedding shower for my niece. It was tiring, but we ended up with a less clutter house!*19. Was a guest of honor at a surprise party - Yes, and Debby, I'm with you. I didn't like it. I arrived very late to my own baby shower and was embarrassed to have imposed on so many women.*20. Read a book in a day - I am a big reader, so I have done this many times. Night owl.........when I worked night duty I found it very difficult to go to bed early but now retired I'm in bed early most nights *2. Believe in ghosts.......when doing my nursing training part of the hospital was an old workhouse and in the early hours of the morning you used to see a lady glide across the grass and some nurses even saw her glide down the medical ward when on night duty although I never did. Have had many 'ghostly' experiences working as a nurse. 3. Do you have a movie you watch over and over?* 4. Like spicy food.....love anything spicy my favourite food to cook *5. Had surgery.....appendectomy, meniscus repair, fracture of the hallux bone which was pinned 6. Have a tattoo 7. Served on Jury Duty 8. Remember your Kindergarten teacher’s name 9. Been fired*10. Lived in more than 3 states........no but lived in more than 3 places in the UK and NZ*11. Like coffee....love coffee and NZ I think makes the best worldwide coffee.*12.
