March 2020 Monthly Challenges

Recommended Posts

Here are the¬†ūüćĬ†March¬†Monthly Challenges¬†ūüćĬ†which can be completed at any time during the month.¬† Please remember to post your layouts in the¬†Monthly Challenge Gallery¬†and then add a link to each¬†page in this thread so that we can leave some love. ¬†You can use your March Monthly Challenge Layouts for the March¬†Challenge Chase so¬†be sure to also post a link in that thread¬†so you are eligible for the monthly coupon.
You can check out the March Challenge Chase info HERE.

Challenge #1: Scraplift
Scraplift any layout from the gallery.  What is a
scraplift?  A scraplift is taking inspiration from another layout.  You can use any or all parts of the layout as you inspiration.  It can be only the color scheme or the entire layout design.  Remember to credit the original creator.

Challenge #2:  Three Photos
It's already the third month, let's create a layout using (only) three photos

Challenge #3:  Altered Photos
Create a layout in which you alter all the photos in some way.  (BW, Sepia, Light/lens flares, styles, etc.)

Challenge #4:  Leave Love
Let's leave some love!  Choose layouts in the gallery that have three or fewer comments and leave love on at least 10 layouts.

I've noticed Creative Team layouts that don't land in the Weekly Newsletter Challenge miss out on some of the love that is usually spread around the forum, so I am headed to the CT Gallery to find one each from currently active CT members. I always think these are terrific layouts, and I get a lot of inspiration from them. Thanks, ladies, for all the great ideas!

1. Amy Flanagan's "Beautiful Moments"
2. Andrea Hutton's "You're the one"
3. April Martell's "Just Married"
4. Carmel Munro's "Autumn Glow"
5. Debby Leonard's "Rainy-day-on-the-boat"
6. Geraldine Touitou's "Reserve Memories"
7. Marie Hoorne's "Brrr....it's cold outside"
8. Shannon Trombley's "121719_ChristmasColors_ShannonT_600"
9. Shauna Trueblood's "Forever"

First challenge done, three photos, and only three photos.  (I hope that meant that we could use other elements and journaling, if not let me know!)

Here is my March 2020 Monthly #1, scraplift, page. Had to make my own pattern since the page was 12 x 12 and I do 8.5 x 11 landscape. My eyeballing dimensions wasn't quite on, but close enough. I really like how this turned out.  Orange Marmalade and here's the scrap lifted page by Im44west
