I've lost a very good recipe that I believe I tore out of Cottage Living, the February issue while at a doc's appointment. It's a Pulled Pork recipe. If anyone has that, please post it my way. I emailed the magazine, but didn't get a response.
Boy, if this isn't far fetched from scrapping??
Happy Holidays and thanks in advance.

Hmmm, I hope someone does have it, and that they post it here - 'cause my DH would be a very happy man if I made some pulled pork. And I like it when my DH is a happy man.

I haven't had that in awhile. I hope someone finds it for you.
If I'm short on time, I'll put a roast in my crock pot and pour a bottle of bbq sauce on it, close the lid, and leave to cook all day. Mmmm-mmm, it smells good in the house when it's cooking.

I have a great crock pot recipe for pulled pork that I can share but it's not the one from the mag. Let me know!

the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference. reinhold niebuhr

I make a pulled pork often, but I am sure it is not the same as the recipe you lost.... I cover a pork roast with season salt, garlic powder, red chille powder, and a bit of cumin, two cans of green chile and about a cup of water. I leave it overnight in the crock pot and shred with a fork.... mmmmmm. It is so good over rice, or in tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, quesedillas, really any way you want to eat it, and when we are tired of it plain I add some BBQ sauce and make sandwiches.
Another great resouce is Allrecipes.com. THey have pretty much anythink you would want to find! They list 6 different styles of BBQ pulled pork.
Hope that helps.

You guys are GREAT..., and fun! After I posted this I wondered if it was an inappropriate subject, but at the time I was a bit panicky(!), thanks for not scolding me. A couple of recipe searches helped me to reinact the episode of cooking this for my family. Many thanks, again. Happy New Year!!
