You can put things in your basket and look at your basket any time you want without actually going to checkout. (That was something that used to make me nervous.) It's also really easy to take items out of your basket, if you discover something that's not on sale. I must say, however, that I've had a lot of items in my basket in the last couple of days, and only once did I find something that wasn't on sale.
