As you may have guessed, there will be a Shades of May color challenge! Be sure to meet us there to chat about all things color. May's birthstone is the Emerald. Emerald green is dark green with a tinge of blue that symbolizes balance and harmony. Green has strong associations with nature and the environment and is seen as the color of luck, freshness, and renewal. In color psychology, green is thought to help balance emotions and promote a sense of calm and clarity. I have attached a color swatch that shows the emerald green color along with variations. Your challenge is to create a layout using at least two shades of green as the dominant colors. They do not have to be shades selected from the color swatch.
