My sister and I are going to Disney, no kids, unless you count us  and I was wondering if there were any kits out there for Disney? Anyone have ideas on kits that would work?

The problem with Disney is that their designs are trademarked and Disney watches their things like a hawk. You have to have a license from Disney to make anything with their designs.

The best thing to do is find kits that are in similar colors and then use those. For instance, Melissa Renfro's kit, Brian, has the bright Disney red, blue, and yellow and would make wonderful layouts.

Here are links to 2 Disney layouts I did recently. As Ro mentioned, I use papers and elements that fit with what I am doing. I added Disney clip-art to the layouts. I did find a Disney themed kit at another website (I'll send you a private message with links to the clipart site and the Disney themed kit) but there is no character clipart with it so I still add clipart to my layouts when I use that particular kit.

Here are the links to my two layouts:

I went to Disney World in October and picked up a couple of page kits while I was there. Since my daughter, granddaughter and I are all scrapbooking our pictures, I have scanned the pieces of the kits into the computer and made my own stickers from them. (I do digital scrapbooking and they do paper).

I also took pictures of signs, figures etc at the park that I could later use as stickers. I will cut those out of the picture and make stickers from those also. For example, Minnie's House etc.

You can get the sticker paper at any office supply store.

Look through your pictures and you may be suprised to see items you can enlarge or use as background papers.

Hope this helps!

I found a fantstic site with Disney clip art you could use to make your own kit. I have loaded some of these images on my computer as brushes. Check the Scrap girls university if you don't know how to do this.

Hope these help you.

So as not to break any copyright laws, I did some layouts and used things I made myself to resemble different things we saw at Disney World. For some more ideas you could browse through my gallery named "Daniel's Wish" and see a few of the layouts. Also a couple of wonderful kits here at ScrapGirls that works well with some Disney layouts is Diane Rooney's Fairy Tale Castle Collection as well as the Digital Stickers: Fairy Tale Princess by Diane Rooney. :) HTH!

My family are Disney junkies - we go every year. I scrapped most of our 2005 trip and have to get cracking on our 2006 trip (never mind 2004 and 2003 - haven't done those yet. If you click on the link below and go to my gallery - check out my Disney LOs - they are quite extensive.
Have fun - its great!!!

Nice to know there are other Disney junkies out there. We are Disney Vacation Club members. We go twice a year. When ds is a little older and can appreciate other activities, we will use our points to go to Hawaii, the Caribbean, on cruises, etc. But for now the joy and excitement in his eyes when we are on small world is so worth it! And, I won't lie, Disney is certainly my favorite place, too! :D
