SodScrap
This month's recipe theme is Breads/Rolls/Quick breads. To participate in the Recipe Swap, please email your 4"x6" high resolution (300 dpi saved a high quality - (1200 x 1800 pixel) Recipe Card to sg.sodscrap@gmail.com by MIDNIGHT, Sunday, October 31, 2021. Each month you submit a recipe you will receive a $2 gift certificate. If you submit a recipe each month during the quarter you will receive a $5 gift certificate. And, if you participate each month all year, at the end of the year you will receive a $15 gift certificate! PLEASE REMEMBER THIS: It is easiest for me if you use your name or user name + the Recipe name (SodScrap_YummyFood) as the file name on your recipe. (I may change it to make it easier for me to track if you don't.) You are welcome to submit more than one recipe. Please do! Please post your recipe in the Recipe Card Gallery and post a link in this thread. After I have compiled the recipes, you will receive a link to download the recipe cards from all our participants. You must send in a card to get the link! Please remember the link is active for 7 days.
MariJ
Trying to do better this month, I had a few more recipes to scrap last month that are sitting right next to my laptop and somehow I never got to them. ? I have a great easy bread/pizza crust recipe I've tried, that's a start for October!
Celestine
Well, I won't be baking any breads for awhile! Husband and I are shopping today for a new stove/oven. Something has gone wrong in the electronic components and even though everything else works, some rogue chip somewhere is telling the oven to "shut off" after the preheat cycle. Repairs and parts are half the cost of a new oven, and ours is already past its expected lifespan. Today's shopping will determine if we buy new or repair the old.... This is not a good time to need a new appliance. Of course you could always make a card and save the set until you have an oven again. ? Then again, there's always a bread machine or a toaster or convection oven, I've done that; not as good, but it works. ? (Does it sound like I want to receive one of your beautiful recipe cards???? ?)

I pull almost all the images and recipes from really big cookbook project I did for my daughter's bridal shower a few years ago. I spent a year cooking many of the dishes featured in the recipes, so I have lots of saved up photos, LOL!
