Show and/or tell us about an event in your life (or someone else's life) that was unexpected, and if you're feeling chatty, give us the details - for example, what were your feelings about the event, how did your life change as a result of it, how different would things have been if this event hadn't happened, was there a silver lining to this sudden change? I think most of us have points in our life that seem to suddenly veer us off into a different, unexpected direction at least temporarily. If you're at a loss for an event like this in your own life, think of something in a loved one's life that made a difference in their life's journey. Once your layout is complete, upload it to the Weekend Wildcard Challenge Gallery, then come back to this thread and leave a link to your layout. If you're participating in the April Challenge Chase, don't forget to leave a link in that thread as well. I'm looking forward to seeing your stories and layouts! Just a side explanation - I've been thinking about unexpected change lately, due to some upcoming changes at work. Not a big deal, but they came up suddenly, and while one aspect is a little disappointing, ultimately over the next year these changes might result in me being able to work from home at least some of the time. Something I've always wished for, but never thought I'd have a chance to do! I chose a different event to scrap about, though, one that made a difference to me early on in my professional career.
