SodScrap
🍂Happy November!!🍂I can't believe I just said that!! Whew!! Time flies when you are having fun!! November kicks off the holiday season. It seems there are lots of festive occasions to celebrate with food. This month's theme is Family Favorites or Holiday Favorites. These are always the best of the best recipes! To participate in the Recipe Swap, please email your 4"x6" high resolution (300 dpi saved a high quality - (1200 x 1800 pixel) Recipe Card to sg.sodscrap@gmail.com by MIDNIGHT, Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Florida granny
I admit to loving just about any turkey dressing -- and most stuffings as well. Here's one that's easily adaptable: Cornbread Dressing
Jane in N.Z
At special occasions like Christmas we always have a triffle, it used to bee a sherry triffle but a friend made this a while back and my family love it so its a new favourite Gin and Lemon Triffle
Celestine
We've needed to cook a Thanksgiving Brunch on occasion, and this Turkey Pot Pie is our go-to and always a big hit. We cook a partial turkey or a turkey breast the night before. Smoked paprika is the secret ingredient that makes this just a step above the rest. We have made the vegetarian option as well. Still delicious.Turkey Pot Pie p.
A-M
As I have shared in the gallery - my recipe has been a favourite one in our family since I was a child. I was so glad my brother had the recipe to pass onto me with all my recipes getting lost when our home was flooded. This is also a traditional Australian recipe which is why I added the Australian flag to my recipe card: Anzac Biscuits

Laura
I sent in a recipe for this swap. It's a new thing I tried this fall- green tomato relish! It is great on top of meats like turkey. And to be honest, I added it to my cottage cheese for breakfast one day. It's awesome! (Don't knock it till you try it, lol).
Celestine
Sorry ladies, I noticed an error in the Turkey Pot Pie ingredient list (forgot the corn), and it has been corrected. Just wanted to let you know. I sent the revised version to Conda for the end-of-the-month distribution.

MariJ
Oh YES YES YES!!! I sure do want to swap! 🤣 I saw some older ones recently. How about "chocolate" for one? I can't remember have we ever done ethnic family recipes, although I don't know we'd have enough for a month? I'll keep thinking. Thank you, Conda for faithfully and cheerfully taking care of the recipe swap for us each month and throughout the year! 💜
Celestine
I absolutely want to keep going with the recipe swap. I love this forum activity so much! You always pick great themes. I like the ethnic food idea. I've been experimenting with Thai and Indian recipes a little, so that would be fun. Vegetarian Main Dishes is a category I would love to have more recipes for since my future daughter in law is vegetarian.
