in Dublin and flicked through it, a LO looked familiar (well the girl in it) put it down, picked it up flicked through again, had to put it down again as my pc had a critical error and told me it was "dumping" my memory!!!
Eventually panic over, pc problem sorted somehow!
I picked up the mag again and the same LO jumped out at me!!!

RO, IT WAS YOURS!!
In an english mag - The Scrapbook Magazine - not one I can find too often!!
A two page spread in the mag with 3 LO's featured, talking about the tools of the digital trade!!

I was gobsmacked!!
And you're in the next issue giving tutorials!!

Great avatar Joy!

Thanks - made it myself - my first. I got so fed up seeing other peoples lovely ones that I decided to have a go myself. If you'd like me to do one for you, email me a pic of yourself and I'll have a go! As long as you don't have 6 noses or anything!!!

Sure, Joy... LOL. If you want my silly autograph I"ll be happy to do that.

Yes, that article is fun, isn't it? Based on that article, they've asked me to do a regular two page digital artical in each month's issue (they are going to a monthly magazine now). In fact, I have been working on my layouts for the deadling I have tomorrow.

I met Sarah and Karen a year ago when I was working at Scrapworks, but I've been cooresponding with Becks. Becks is also on our newsletter list.

I guess Becks has like my silliness here on the site and so when they decided to add a digital scrapbooking regular feature, they invited me to take it. I was truly delighted when I saw how lovely the magazine is when I received it in the mail this week. They are doing a great job!

Oh - and KUDOS to Betsy - who edited it for me. (I always send anything important past her. In fact, she is getting me on a schedule for the newsletter so that she actually has time to review it first before it goes out. Good idea! I've actually been on schedule this week....)

We do sell it in the US - so you should (in theory) be able to get it somewhere. I know we had a ton of them specially printed with US pricing etc.

Here's a challenge for you - find a copy of The Scrapbook Magazine stateside!!!!!

The UK mags are slowly creeping over to the US, I saw another British title I write for 'Cardmaking and Papercraft' in Borders last time I was over!

I just realized that I didn't ever say that I do a regular column for them. And the new editor has just asked me to continue writing it indefinately. It's a digital scrapbooking column.

I've filed my fourth column this month.
