momentousangel
This morning Cola ask if daddy has to go to work. When told he has to go to work she says "But I want daddy to stay home." We then explained to her that daddy is going to go fix someones potty because it is broke. Cola's response was "Daddy can't fix the toilet because he's not Handy Manny!" This made us both chuckle so thought I would share it.

MovieStar
We sit around at the dinner table and talk about it. LOL And the other Disney shows. Sounds something like this... "Did you know that Annie is Leo's little sister?" "Oh yeah, didn't I tell you I found that out the other day?" "Did you notice when they are showing the ducks swimming that they are counting to 8 but there are actually nine?" "No way! Rewind that and let me see!" "Did you see the one where the penguins escaped from the zoo? Totally cracked me up!" "I wondered where she learned to say penguin!" And then there is always the other dinner talk… “She has already had 3 messy diapers today! Don’t give her any yogurt!!” LOL Such is life when you have a kid!! MichaelsMomJo
That's funny. I can definitely relate because when I was trying to explain to Michael about the plumber having to come replace our toilet, he just wasn't getting it. So I finally told him Handy Manny was coming to our house!! I guess we're all on the same wavelength. Of course, when the plumber got there, Michael just wanted to see his tools. He was all excited to talk to Felipe and Squeeze and Pat. So you can imagine how upset he was when he saw tools of the ordinary, non-talking variety! momentousangel
Too Funny Elizabeth! The other day Cola woke up later than she normally does and this is what happened next..... Cola wakes up and climbs up on my lap and says "Mommy, you maked me miss mickey." I said "how did I make you mis Mickey?" She says "you no waked me up." I said "but you were so tired sweety." She says "You tired of me watching mickey?" I said "No sweety." She says "Turn Mickey on." I said "But it's already been on and already went off now." She says "Call the tv guy and tell him turn Mickey back on mommy." It was cute, but to see her face, she was so serious the whole way through our conversation. When I didn't reach for the phone to call the "TV guy" and have him turn Mickey back on she looks up at me, climbs down off my lap, grabs my cell phone, starts pushing buttons and looks over at me and says "It's a mickey mergency mommy me call the tv guy meself." I just about died laughing because she was just so serious.
MovieStar
LOL too funny Val. We have 2 episodes of Little Einsteins and 2 episodes of Mickey taped. The problem now is she is starting to request specific episodes. "No...Pete stuck" "Rocket, June, Duck" At my Mom's house they have DVR so she can watch any episode any time...at home 2 is all we have. DH and I are about to pull our hair out after watching them 3 gazillion times! LOL
momentousangel
LOL! I know that feeling. When our dish goes on the fritz because the rain we go bonkers around here. We don't have a way to record from the tv so we have to be extra creative until the dish comes back on. She gets so mad sometimes because she's right in the middle of a show and starts complaining to the tv, rofl. She tells the tv, "hey tv guy, are you in there? Hellooooo? Fix my tv tv guy!" It's too funny. Going to have to cam her when she does that for sure. heheteehe.
skywisej
Val, the Mickey 'mergency totally cracked me up! I have Tivo, thank goodness, so I always have an episode of Sesame Street or the Upside Down Show or Dora for Riley if he asks.
momentousangel
Okay, here is our reason for not being able to record from the tv, rofl. We have a projection screen tv, the sound chip is gone and they want around 500 dollars to fix it, so instead of having it fixed we initially took the television out of our bedroom (made the picture as black and un-noticable as we could) and put it on top of the projection tv in the living room and used it for sound, while we still use the projection tv for the picture. ROFL! Well, I've since complained long enough about how tacky it looks having a 27 inch tv sitting on top of a huge projection tv, so therefore, we've since ran the projection tv through the stereo speakers so the 27 inch tv can come back in our bedroom and my living room won't look so tacky, ROFL. How is that for a tv though, rofl.
