The Welcoming Committee came up with this list based on things we like to do to share the love in the gallery. Like we all heard as kids, what goes around, comes around. Once you start sharing the love, it will come back to you two fold! Start with just one or two of these and see what happens. We already know that ScrapGirls and ScrapGuys are the best of the best. You all leave lots of comments, chat and chat and chat some more, welcome new members like old friends…we just want to do even more. So many of us have posting goals, and comments in the gallery are the most important posts of all. It is the easiest way to make each other feel appreciated and let someone know that all of the hard work and emotions and efforts that go into putting together a layout have not gone unnoticed. So let’s get out there and Share the Love!! :2468who-do-we-appreciate: :2468who-do-we-appreciate:

1. Share the love with your neighbors. Leave a comment for the layout before yours and after yours in the member’s gallery.

2. If you upload more than one layout (especially if you upload lots of layouts) leave comments on the same number of layouts posted prior to yours.

3. When someone leaves you a comment, if they have a link to their gallery in their signature, click over and leave them a comment on a recent layout.

4. Whenever someone posts a layout in the Share the Love forum make sure to leave them a comment.

5. When you see a layout with few or no comments, leave a comment.

6. When you see a layout that really catches your eye, leave a comment and say what drew you to the layout.

7. When you participate in a challenge or contest, take the time to look through the gallery and comment on other layouts done for the challenge.

8. Leave a meaningful comment that really lets the person know you looked at their layout.

Kudos to the Welcoming Committee for giving us concrete ways to "share the love" we feel regarding LOs posted to the gallery! They're all great ideas, and I look forward to putting them into practice.

Great list of ideas!! Thanks! I like the one about leaving love for your neighbors. If everyone did that, then no one would ever feel unloved again!

I love it! Everyone needs positive reinforcement - I find after I post a LO, I keep checking to see if people left comments :2468who-do-we-appreciate:

I try to leave comments as much as possible - sometimes I can't - busy at work, but I try. Remember, treat people the way you want to be treated and you can't go wrong!

What a great way to share the love! Kathleen, I know what you mean! It's always nice to check and see what people are saying about your work. And it's nice to know what's working well and what could be left behind for the next LO. I'm off to leave some comments!! :D

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna try to and leave more comments for people. Everyone's work is so awsome and we should be sure to let them know it. And, just for the record, I really appericiate constructive critizism on my layouts.

It's always nice to get comments on your layout. I really like tho one about the layouts that don't have that many comments. We all love comments and I can honestly say that I love commenting. Most days I randomly click on layouts and then find something that I really like about it and comment on that. There's so many great pages in the gallery.

Thanks for sharing these guidelines.

This is definitely a great list. I try to share the love as much as I can. In fact, I try (and try is the operative word) to at least leave a comment for those who leave comments for me. It's nice to see a return comment and is a great excuse to run around the gallery (as if you really need an excuse..lol). BTW, if a commentor doesn't have a link to their gallery, you can click on their username to go to their personal profile and access their gallery from there.

Oh, one more thing: I also like to leave comments for the not so new and sometimes downright old LOs. As I'm kinda new to digi-scrapping, it is really neat to see what others were scrapping in the past. Okay, I'm done. LOL

It's also fun to stroll the gallery and see what others have done with the great Scrap Girls products I have too! Try doing a search for your favorite SG products in the gallery. Be inspired!

As a newbie, it is great to see comments on my layouts as I learn this addictive passion and preserve our memories at the same time. I think the guidelines are an excellent idea on how we can share the love and be a much closer group. These acts of kindness are what makes this forum stand out from the rest and make us feel 'at home'.

You are right Karen.
I love to have comments on my LO's and I think it is important to comment other persons LO's too.
It is such a great moment when you see that someone has been looking at what you have done.
We create keepsakes for us, but we share with everybody the moment we post them.
Let's spread the love.
Caroline
