Re-sizing Photos To Send On E-mail

Hi,

Im using outlook express, and normally e-mail pics thru -> my docs -> my pictures, then under 'file & folder tasks' I click 'e-mail this file' and it asks me if I want to re-size. For some reason its not asking me this anymore..... why have I lost this? Does anyone know how to get it back?

I know I can easily re-size pics in PSE, but it takes time if you're doing say 20, and you just want to quickly e-mail them to someone (without saving the smaller pics).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Pepa~ I have no clue how to use Outlook, so this won't answer you question specifically.
But- if you email your photos using the PSE Organizer, it will automatically re-size them for you, and you can add captions. Just import the photos you want to email by clicking "get photos-> from files or folders" Then select the ones you want to email and choose "share->email" it should take you through the prompts to set up the email function (it uses your regular email address) and then it will let you email a bunch of photos at once, resizing them and adding nice frames.

I am sure someone will be along soon that can help you with Outlook, but in the mean time, this is another option.
Good Luck!

Hi pepa

I do this in My pictures go to file/ send to/mail recipient. Then it ask you if you want it resized for emailing tick the right box and then it comes up with where you want to send it then I press send. All this goes through in Outlook.
Does that help?

Hi Sherri - I honestly didnt even know that existed! Will have to give it a go. I normally go image -> resize, etc. Will try your way.

And Ngarie - thats exactly what I have been doing, and now it doesnt ask me if I want to re-size, it just attaches them normal size - which is 3 meg!

Cheers!
