chefmargo
In paper scrapbooking I can just take a pen and draw a line or curve or stitches. How can I do that in PSE5? It seems like I should be able to do that but I can't seem to figure it out. What I have is a basketball element and I want to add the dot dot dot lines to show it bouncing. Is that something that I would use a brush for? (I haven't tried those yet!) Also, I think I went through all the paper and I didn't find any that has the textured leather of a basketball or football. I thought I would get the Ball Game brush and use that on some textured paper to make a basketball for another layout. Am I way off base here? I know these are very basic questions but I can't seem to find the answers! Thanks for any help you can give! Margo
Guest CFPMom
Select one of the thin default brushes, create a new layer and draw with your mouse or Wacom tablet.
Guest siraacsa
If you want to draw a straight line in PSE, select your brush then click where you want to start your line then hold down the shift key and click again where you want your line to end, PSE will then draw a line between the two points. chickypow
Yes, using a brush would be the easiest way to draw in PSE and like a previous poster said, do it on a new layer so that it's easier to touch up or change....I'm not too sure about the texture question though, I'm sure someone has the answer! chefmargo
Brushes are soo cool! I hadn't really figured them out and so I tried it! Totally fun! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much for the help. I did find the tutorial in the University about brushes - I should have started there instead of wasting everyone's time. You could have been scrapping! Maybe I will post later about the leather looking paper. Margo
