I saw another thread where the girls were talking about adding people to your own profile, but do you ask first? Hey do you wanna be my friend??? I don't want to just assume someone wants to be my friend. What if I add someone and they don't want to be there? Is this is a crazy question? I also saw that we can leave comments on profiles. Is that the asking place? And when you check out someones profile it shows that you have been there, so then I feel a little weird looking at someone's profile and they know I have been there...so should I say Hi in the comments?? or send a private message? I don't know how all of this works. I'm fairly new here to this whole message board stuff, so please explain to the newbie the proper message board etiquette. I have added a few people that I PM often to my friends list but I think of everyone here my friend! I have a feeling this may not help much! LOL I guess we will see over time how many use it! So, far, I have added some people to my friends list, and some people have added me to theirs, and there hasn't been any asking of permission involved. Like Dee, I like to consider everyone here my friend. Whenever I get a message that someone has added me to their friends list, I am always very excited and flattered. I still always feel a little nervous about adding people to my friends list, though. Like "what if they don't think if me as their friend?" As far as the comments on our profiles, I don't really know what that feature is for either, but I do like the idea of saying "hi" when we visit each other's profiles. That might be a nice custom to start up! Does anyone else have any other thoughts or ideas about the profile comments section? What is the actual intended purpose of that section? Does anyone know? Or some who have gone out of their way to be helpful to a newbie. I haven't asked permission, so I hope I'm not out of line without asking first. I have left a couple of comments on member's profile pages, too. But FWIW, I'd be honored if someone added me as a friend, even without asking permission first. So if anyone wants to add me its okay..
