Color Schemer Studio

Many of the designers here at SG may already know about the Color Schemer Studio software. It's like having a color wheel on your computer all the time. Picking colors for a kit or LO is a cinch with this software! (No, I'm not getting paid by the company - LOL!) It's available for Macs and PCs, and there's a 15 day trial that allows for full functionality. The website is: Color Schemer Studio.

I really love this software, and I'd like to know what the rest of you think.

Wow that is some really neat software! Ok I downloaded the trial and some schemes. It's a little pricey but all the options it offers is unbelievable. So I may end up buying it. Did you buy it? Do you find you use a lot? Thanks for the tip gotta go play now. If I buy this I'm gonna have to get more paper templates from SG to design more! LOL

I'm on the third day of my trial, and I'm seriously considering buying it. I love having that kind of information at my fingertips, instead of having to scrounge around for my well-loved color wheel. I also like that it will build a color scheme from a photo -- great when you have so many competing colors in a picture. (I have some Las Vegas pictures like this.)

I can see myself using this, not just for my digi LOs, but for when I put together brochures/postcards to market my jewelry. I think it's a neat tool for anyone doing any type of graphic design. I'm going to be good and give it a full two weeks before I make up my mind. I can be an "impulse buyer" when it comes to software and other tech gadgets, so I'm restraining myself for the time being!

Thanks for that link. I've filed that away too. I liked the "compound" color harmonies that Kuler offers, and it's nice that you don't have to pay for the service as you do with software.

Wow we have some things in common. Obviously Digi Scrappin, I make jewelery too (just for myself, family, friends), and I really have a hard time not impulse buying when it comes to software and tech gadgets! Ok I used this today and did my first LO with it I have to save it for web and then I'll post.
