This came into my Inbox yesterday:

"Thank you for your submission to PaperArts. We appreciate the hard work and talent you have put forth. I regret to inform you that the decision has been made to cease production of PaperArts.

Sincerely,
Jane

Now, if I remember correctly, this was to be a new magazine put out my Memory Makers. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Interesting...wonder why they decided not to publish?

That is interesting... Maybe they decided that they were being spread too thin. It was beginning to look like that song, "Anything you can do, I can do better..."

Head to head rivalry with the CK group. PaperArts would have been their answer to Primedia's version.

Thanks for the news.

It looks like the market is now weeding the wheat from the chaff, the same thing will probably start to happen over here in the UK soon. We have had a rash of SB mags hit the news stands in the past 6 months, it'll be interesting to see what happens.
