I just finished Altered Books Workshop, by Bev Brazelton and learned so many cool techniques. If you're into altered books at all, this book is for you. I like the book because it did more than just teach the techniques, it really inspired my creativity. Now I've gotta go get busy trying everything out!

I've picked that one up a few times but I always have to tell myself, no, no!

I did buy Claudine Hellmuths' Collage Discovery Workshop and Lynne Perella's Art Journal book. Not strictly scrapbooking, either of them, but so many creative ideas and images in them both.

Gwyn, thanks for mentioning those books. I haven't seen the Collage Discovery Workshop, but I'll go check it out at b&n. I am really fascinated with Lynn Perrella's work. If you haven't already seen it, she has a website at www.lkperrella.com. Make sure to check out her travel journals. Too cool!
