CRS
I am so frustrated with PSE3 right now. I have been working on a layout for my dd and everytime I change the angle of the font to a diagonal instead of level, PSE3 freezes on me. I have had this problem on and off for awhile now. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? Before I pull out all my hair and throw the computer out the window? J/K, but it is very frustrating, especially when I've got a good groove goin' on. Thanks for any help you can spare!
DDecker
Sounds like your virtual memory is getting low. I would run disk clean and reboot. HTH
ScrapGirlsRo
Yep, sounds like RAM or virtual memory. Did you have an external hard drive or a second internal hard drive? If so, you should set it as your "scratch disk". That will help. Tell us if you have one and we'll give you directions for doing that.
CRS
I do have an ehd and the scratch disks are set to it. I'll run a check tomorrow and see if that helps. The problem isn't consistent, but it sure is annoying when it happens. Thanks for your responses!
ruralscrapper
Just curious Carla, how much RAM do you have in your computer? I use to run PSE 4.0 but I never had any trouble with it freezing up on me.
CRS
Patti, I think I have 480 MB of RAM. I really want a new computer but dh's laptop just died so we have to replace that. Thank God for my ehd! PSE3 only freezes when I try to change the angle of the text and even that is only once in a while. I still have to run the checks this morning and see if that helps. Hopefully this afternoon I can try to finish scrapping that layout.
