A cool tutorial on making a photo-covered tissue box cover:

As always, if you make one, take a photo of it and upload to the gallery :)

Thanks Brandie! I think I'm gonna have to get that book! I always want to find different ways to display our photos and esp make different gifts.

I agree, Jennifer! A book like that would probably be a great thing to have!

Cool project. Both of my girls will like this one, for themselves and to do as gifts. Thanks for the link Brandie.

I have Photo Decor by Donna Downey, not that I can seem to steer myself away from the computer to make anything in it! LOL But this one is even more home oriented.

To have a friend is to have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an extra pair of legs when yours are too weak to stand alone...

I have been living buried in books and writing classes... as an added note I must say that it is rather scary when you start dreaming and all you can see within your dreams is words floating everywhere!

That looks like a very neat idea. A great way to display photos throughout the house.

Love the idea but I am so not hands on crafty in any way although I wish I were, but thats why I love digi-scrapping so much.

Thanks for sharing that site.

Recently, I saw a plastic tissue box designed for scrapping. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I would think you could change it more easily than using a wooden one.

It's item #IN-65/90074 if anyone is interested at Oriental Trading Company.

I might break down and order one in the future and do my designing digitally with Scrap Girls products.

I really like the vintage look of that one! Wonder if I could find the box here hmmm.... this would be fun to make for hubby's desk with vintage pics of him as a child. his office would get a kick out o fit anyway!

You could also use wooden or plastic tissue box thingies that you sit over a box of tissues as well. ;)
