When you go to file>open, scroll down to My Computer (or computer) and then select the drive in which the files are located. Does that make sense? Quick clarification - I'm talking about when you're in Photoshop and trying to bring in a picture, paper or whatever. In PSE, it's File>open - I'im guessing it's the same in PS.
