I think they are using a few of mine, so I have been emailing back and forth with the originator of this message. From his post to me, this is what they are looking for:

"What do a ***?s Angel, Fred Savage, a scrapbook designer, Paris Hilton a neurosurgeon and urban dwelling females have in common? They all have a scrapbook exhibited in Scrap and the City.

Scrap and the City ? An Urban Girl?s Guide To Scrapbooking, is an informative, slightly irreverent and entertaining look at the 21st century scrapbooking phenomenon.

Think of Scrap and the City as the punk rocker of the scrapbooking world, the black sheep of the craft society, the glue, scissor and ruler from the wrong side of the tracks... all with a heart of gold. Scrap and the City is the scrapbooking guide your mother warned you about.

Scrap and the City is being written and published (SOHO Publishing) for the thousands of stylish city-dwelling and hip country-living women who are turned off by scrapbooking?s good girl reputation.

And what better way to show these women what a hip scrapbook looks like then by, well, showing them. That's where YOU (and a host of other scrapbook designers, artists and celebs) come in.

We are looking for scrapbooks (actually just 2 pages) created by artists/designers to be featured in the book that exemplify the Scrap and the City concept. We want edgy and unconventional scrapbooks that challenge its balloons-and-puppy-dogs, just-for-middle-America, unhip reputation.

The designers and artists? approach to creating for Scrap and the City can be summed up like this: Take an unconventional person and create an unconventional scrapbook; take a conventional person and create an unconventional scrapbook; take a conventional theme and create an unconventional scrapbook; take an unconventional theme and create an unconventional scrapbook."
