mickelle Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 Okay, so about two months ago we purchased my EHD and I put all my files on it. ....But now I have two months' worth of new downloads, and I can't figure out how to tell my EHD to look for new files within my file and update itself. So my only known option is to move over ALL my digi scrapping supplies all over again, even though I probably only have another 150 files or so. TIA! Guest siraacsa Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 I use a program called Second Copy. You can set up profiles and have them run manually or when you open or close your PC. You can set it to do a simple copy or synchronise between two harddrives. I use an external harddrive to put my files on to share between my laptop and PC, but I also have them all backed up on my PC. I usually download my digital files onto my Laptop, unzip them and file them on my EHD and then synchronise it with my PC's harddrive. The beauty of this program is that it scans your files and only copies/synchronises the ones added or altered since your last run. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
