Can someone point me to a Beginners Guide to PSE 5 ?
I've tried the tutorials, but there is always that "1" step that I do not know how to do.
Beginners would be for me.
Thanks

Do you have Ro's Secrets revealed for PSE 2, 3 & 4? They were a great beginners guide for me even though they aren't exactly version 5, everything is pretty much the same.

Yes, I have the one for PSE 4....but it's not a beginner's guide.
Thanks

Malzie-you really should do yourself a favouar and get Ro's Secrets (available in the boutique). I've had other tutorials on CD and elsewhere, but there isn't anything like Ro's for getting hold of everything quickly. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Malzie - Ro's Secrets for PSE 4 really is a beginner's guide. I have it myself, and it's an excellent way to learn pse 4. I'm talking about Ro's first level tutorials "Scrapbook Software Secrets Revealed: Photoshop Elements 4.0", not "MORE Secrets Revealed".
One thing came to mind though - did you read the pdf file that came with the videos? If you want information starting from opening the software, make sure you read the file titled "PSE_PreMovie_Important_Facts_Tutorial". It will most likely answer some of the basic questions you may have.

Malzie,
If you're like me and like a hard copy of a guide, try Scott Kelby's PSE 5 Book for Digital Photographers. I've also heard great things about Photoshop Elements 5: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage.
I have both of these sitting on my desk right now, but I haven't had a moment since they arrived on Monday to really take a good look at either of them. If you pick one over the other, I'd go with the Missing Manual one as it covers just about everything.
