    Praying for Ashley and Benjamin right now. I had an extreme form of pre-eclampsia when I was pregnant with our girls. I'm sure you read the worst of the worst. That's what I had, and I'm well and happy as are our almost 11 yo daughters. Know that most people who have preeclampsia do very well, and the babies are great. Rest in the peace that the Lord has both of these dear ones in His hand.

    Thanks everyone for your prayers. It was a week ago today that Katie fell into the pool. Here's the FB post from her Mom:

    It's official: Katie is coming home TODAY!! Not only that but she is in such great shape that they're not even recommending any followup PT/OT. Truly a miracle!! Thank you for all your prayers and support. Our God is an awesome God!!!


    This is more than anyone could have logically concluded from this situation. God surely does not work with human logic. I'm so very, very thankful for that!

    Katie's mom got a night at home last night while Dad stayed at the hospital. Looks like she continues to do well and may be released from the hospital in the next few days. It's unclear what limitations she may have at this time. Waiting to hear. Please continue to pray! Thx!

    "Wed. morning update: Katie is pretty subdued after being awake (but calm) for most of the night. While I was holding her so the nurse could change her bedding, she reached her arms around my neck and hugged me a tiny bit. She ate a whole jar of pears for breakfast and we'll try a pancake for dessert. She also asked, "What's that?" a few times while watching Mickey Mouse. Progress is slow, but it's definitely progress."

    And it gets better...she's OUT OF ICU and on a regular floor at Boston Children's! More developmental/physical evals tomorrow. Looking like home might be in the near future. Thanks for praying.

    Hey Debbie! No, I didn't cry when DS went off to prom, but I did spend the evening scrapping the pre-prom photos. I had to keep my fingers busy so I didn't text him to find out how it was going!

    Competition was very stiff. She came 21 out of 34. She has only being doing this type of gymnastics for a few months. Hopefully next year she will do better. I think it's wonderful that she got so far. Thanks for asking. Have a great day.
