I've been playing with PSE13 and have decided not to purchase it. I'll stay with PSE12, they made several 'small' changes which I find very annoying: Bounding box is very light and not clearly visible; as you resize items a box shows up alongside with the size you are changing the item to (very annoying to me) and the Menus items being too small without changing the screen resolution, which brings about problems of its own.

Looking at the siggy you have created you need to trim away the excess blank space. Crop it so there is just a small amount of space around it.

Sitting at my desk listening to the Canada Geese fly south and honking as they go. I've been seeing them fly, but never had my camera with me. Need to start carrying it again. I love their honking sound and love the way they stay in formation.

Aren't they amazing? I've been noticing a flock every morning I take my son to school. My dog doesn't know what to think of them!

Finally figured out how to make the menu bar list larger. I lowered the resolution on my monitor. Works a little better now, however, my desktop Icons and everything else are now very large. LOL!

Carol, Windows 7 or 8? You can adjust font/icon sizes, too.

I went back to my normal screen resolution. I'll just have to deal with the small menu bar lists. Also, when I lowered the screen resolution, I started to get weird lines popping up on the desktop and in PSE. So when I went back to normal resolution, the lines stopped. Very interesting!!!!!

Does anyone remember how to make the text in the options bar larger? I can't find help on it anywhere. I'm using PSE13 now and trying to set all of the options to how they are in PSE12. So far, so good, except for the options bar.

From what I read in the Adobe help forums, the size adjusts automatically- depending on the type of monitor you have.

Adobe just came out with Photoshop Elements 13. Looks like a few new things have been added. I'll probably download the free trial to check it out, if they have a free trial available yet.

I think for Carol and those nearby it had an extra element of fear... They could see in real life what we were watching over and over on our screens... Aidan was 3 months old then, I recall it like yesterday...

I was living in Los Angeles at the time, but my sister was living here in New York. Her office is at Ground Zero and on that day she was just getting out of the subway. Police told everyone to get back and not continue on as the buildings had been hit. That is when the first building came down. I couldn't get in touch with her until 7pm that night. My cousin in Massachusetts called me and told me that she was safe.

A terrifying day for all of us. We were in Canada, little town 5 miles from the Idaho border. We just wanted to get home...isn't that odd? The US was under attack, but we wanted to get home. The border was closed almost all day, and when they opened it, they had a big contingency of guards with dogs. They did a thorough inspection of our RV and we got back into the U S. Memorable day for everyone.
