here's me, trying to scrap really ancient photos of myself in a way that doesn't make me look like i should be a museum exhibit. me in a swing, ca. 1952.
the journaling reads: this picture has always touched my heart. little monkey-me sitting in a chair that's wonkey. sitting there as if the tilt is completely normal. it reminds me of the resilience of children. of how they can accept "askew" as just the way things are. how they can live and often thrive in a world that's on a slant.
I did a doubletake when I saw this page. Your daughter is the image of my daughter when she was that age. Mine is also an equestrienne and is on her university's team. Seems like only yesterday! This is a beautiful layout and has inspired me to look at some of my photos of my daughter on horseback from 10 years ago and do something digital with them!
