February Recipe Swap 2016

We are getting ready to celebrate the 50th Super Bowl on Sunday.  In honor of this, our theme this month is SOUP.  I love a good bowl of soup any time of the year, but it's the best during winter!

  • To participate in the Recipe Swap, please email your 4"x6" high resolution (300 dpi saved a high quality - (1200 x 1800 pixel)    Recipe Card to sg.sodscrap@gmail.com by 9 am  ET FRIDAY FEBRUARY 26th.

  • PLEASE REMEMBER THIS:  It is easiest for me if you use your name or user name + the Recipe name (SodScrap_YummyFood) as the file name on your recipe. (I may change it to make it easier for me to track if you don't.)

  • You are welcome to submit more than one recipe.

  • After I have compiled the recipes, you will receive a link to download the recipe cards from all our participants. You must send in a card to get the link!

Please post your recipe in the Recipe Swap Gallery and post a link back in this thread!

Weekend Challenge 1/23/2016

23 January 2016 - 09:45 AM

This week, we worked with text shapes. All this talk about text made me reflect on my journaling. Journaling is important to tell the what, when, where, who, and why of the story the layout tells. How often do we forget to include journaling? We might not remember the story next year, five years, or even 10 years from now. Will the next generation know the story when they come across your photo book?

Your challenge today is to include journaling on your layout, including the details of your story.

Post your finished layouts in the
Weekend Challenge Gallery and post a link back in this thread.

I will post my layout shortly.  I will have to unpack my EHD.

Weekend Challenge 1/9/2016

09 January 2016 - 08:39 AM

At the start of the new year, we always find ourselves making resolutions. What is your resolution? Maybe it's to lose those last 10 pounds, spend more time with our family, reconnect with old friends, or become more organized. Our Weekend Wildcard Challenge is to scrap those resolutions into a layout. This is a great way to see the resolutions so we can look back at them through the year as a reminder.

If you're like me and you find yourself needing a little extra motivation through the year to keep that resolution, check out our Monthly Motivators Challenge in the Forum:
Monthly Motivators January No matter what your resolution or goal for the month is, you'll find a group of supportive ladies ready to give encouragement and share their own struggles. Plus, everyone who completes the month will get a special prize. It's not too late to join us!

Post your completed layout in the Weekend Challenge Gallery and post a link back in this thread.
