  1. Hope you're able to find some time to celebrate today. Happy Birthday, Lori!

  2. Hey Lori,

Wow! You have had a tough go at it lately! I will keep my fingers crossed for your family and you!

  3. Thanks. The basic shape was a ScrapSimple template called Rounded Corners by Melissa. To make the borders of each area, I simply selected the blank areas where the pictures go with the magic wand, then went (PSP) selections/modify/make selection borders and put in the number of pixels I wanted the border to be. Filled and beveled. Lori
  4. You won't believe this...a stray cat showed up last year and would stand outside my window at night and cry and cry and cry to be let in. He wore me down and I let him move in and his name is...you guessed it, Crybaby! Now that he has a home I have to explain the name as he doesn't cry anymore, lol.

I absolutely LOVE this new style you're doing! Excellent! Lori
  6. I think you should win a prize for "Best use of a Toilet" in a layout! Lori
  7. I started off fine...I ended up with a picture of a cat's tail that probably should have been deleted but wasn't. Then got Dinny's Black and Tan paper. And they matched beautifully. But then got an unknown blue paper with daisies all over it...gag. My three embellishments are from Talina's Football Collection...what are these anyway???? a yellow staple from Valeries Abstractions and a tag from Theresa's Signs of Spring. My brushes were Cracks from the Distressed set and a fern leaf. And my font was Andy. So I put the fern brushes over the black/tan paper. Hid as much of the daisy paper as I could behind the cat then hit what stilled showed with the cracks brush. Ro said we could use black so add that strip and used the font and embellishments on it.
  8. Oops, should have mentioned that frame effect is from a free 8bf filter called FotoFrame from here http://8bf.net/fotoframe.html
  9. She really did....no job, no home, knew no one there. She got an apartment with a view of the stadium one day and went and got the tickets the next.
  10. Wow! This is excellent, looks as professional as any I've paid for. Kudo's to you! Lori
