2nd Attempt At A Layout...

08 August 2008 - 10:02 PM

I created the background and I used the 'stroke' option to do the matting on the pictures... found it was a lot easier then cut paste and resize to fit the pic... the only downfall is I can't double mat it this way... or maybe I just don't know how yet :) Anyway, I used one of the custom shapes to make the embelishments at the bottom... thanks for looking... 2nd layout Hard Rock Cafe NYC I hope this link works...

Now... My 1st Layout :)

My first layout

I made my own background paper... :) I'm having fun getting creative with that, now I'm trying to figure out how to make a layout. This is very simple, but it's all I know right now. I still can't believe I figured out how to put a hole in my oval tag LOL!! Now if I can figure out how to make ribbon and figure out how to put that ribbon in that hole... then I will have achieved ALLLLL LOL! ok... maybe not all... :)

I changed my link... please let me know if it doesn't work... :) thanks....

Graphic Tablet And Pens

Since I'm very new to all of this, I was curious to know what exactly this option offers??? for example can I do the following:

> Write 'clearly' in my own handwriting to put on my layouts? whether it's on a tag, picture, or background paper??
> Can I make a design (like a swirl just to say something) and save it as a brush in PSE6
> When I say 'clearly' will it come out to be a smooth line? or is it jagged like on the debit card machines we use to sign?
> I'm assuming your own elements can be created with this?

I look forward to the comments :) This hardware sounds really cool and 'handy'

thanks

Pse6 Resizing Question

02 August 2008 - 09:36 PM

I've created some of my own printed papers and wanted to upload them but they are too big. I tried to go resize image, but when I put the pixels to 300 it changes the size of the document to 1" x 1" ???? what do I need to do to be able to upload my paper in the gallery? thanks :)
