When I was young and imagined what my wedding day would be like, it was more about the “parts” of the wedding: the gown, the flowers, the music. To be honest, there was a time when I wanted to get married for the sake of having a big wedding ceremony. But then I really fell in love. I realized that all of those things were just “things” and were not the most important part of getting married. The most important thing was finding someone I loved and trusted who made me happy and made me laugh; someone who could make me look at the world differently, who would challenge my opinions, yet see eye to eye with me on the most important things. I am so grateful to have found that person in you. And you loved me enough to give me the wedding I had always dreamed of having. On our wedding day, even though I don’t remember every single detail, there are some things about that day that are crystal clear. At the moment of my “big entrance,” there was only one thing that mattered: that you were waiting for me at the other end of the aisle. My eyes locked with yours and I saw nothing else, except the man I wanted to spend my life with. I didn’t even realize I forgot my bouquet! All I cared about was that you were there waiting for me - and the look in your eyes that said you loved me with all your heart. Because of that, because of you and the love we share, my wedding day was everything I could have imagined… and more.
