New From Orlando, Fl But Tennessee Is Still Home

30 September 2008 - 11:31 AM

Greetings.

I am new to the Scrap Girls Forum but certainly not their boutique. You'll see me listed as Grammie2twins. Four years ago my daughter (34) gave birth to twin girls 3.5 months early. They are our miracle babies - weighing only 1.1 oz. and 2.6 ozs. They are very healthy with no problems. They are still small for their age (probably a year behind) but not behind in any other way. I also have a son (23) still living at home going to school to become a policeman.

I love kayaking, reading, anything with a computer, and hand quilting.

My husaband (he's a p.e. teacher of middle school) and I have been married for 36 yrs. We have lived in the same house for 34 years but may move to East Tenn. when he retires in 3 years.

I retired in March after working at the district school system office for 41 yrs. I worked most of those years in technology and in the years prior to my retirement I taught teachers how to use their computers. In the last year of working I worked with 150 teachers in 8 high schools in a grant using nothing by Mac laptops teaching them how to intergrate technology with reading.

I have been lazy so far since retiring but am slowly working toward starring a DS4O home business that also includes video editing, scanning of photos and photo organization.

This forum has already helped me tremendously.

Anything by Karen Kingsbury! Currently reading the Redemption Series and they are terrific. I've never read any books by her that aren't super.
