In Topic: Viewing .psd Files In My Pictures

04 September 2006 - 11:34 PM

I had Photoshop 7 on my laptop and it allowed me to view .psd files in the My Pictures folder. I recently bought a new computer and I installed Photoshop CS. I can no longer view my .psd's in the My Pictures folder--all I see is a Photoshop icon. Did I configure something wrong when I installed the program? Can I change it?

Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.

You won't be able to see PSD files using Explorer. For in the new Photoshop cs and cs2 Adobe removed a dll because some people were experiencing file corruption. Any way that was what I read some place.
I just open Adobe Bridge to view my psd
hope this helps

I'm always at a loss with these forums! Bear & bare with me. I just bought Scrapbook Factory Delux 3. How do I import some of the images into Elements? Are scrapbook file extentions different? What is that extention? I'm a newbie at this and PS Elements, the learning curve is slow for me. Whatever help anyone can extend is appreiciated in advance!

I do not use Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 3, but if there is a way to save the images that you want to import in to Photoshop as jpg, gif, png, just save it to say a folder in my picture them open up your Photoshop, and you got it.. And one more way might work is to open both programs and just copy and paste the images into Photoshop.
Hope this helps

I have one. I got mine through Homestead and they have a site builder that helps you to create one, or they also have premade designs that you can use. I do not know all the programming stuff, so this was good.

me too I got mine through homestead years back.. for my orchids and I like to make stationery too and wallpaper, so I post all that on my site but it is mostly for orchid growing at home.

In Topic: Anyone Use A Tablet?

I've been looking at tablets and was wondering if a lot of you digi scrappers use one. If so, what kind and size, and why did you choose that particular one. I hear that they are really great and make things much easier, but before I take the plunge I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks and have a wonderfully scrappy day

yes me too I use the Wacom with my Photoshop cs2 I would not be with out the Wacom it makes things so much easyer to do and I like to draw too so the table helps in that too. here is one of my drawings
