I turned 60 this year and it was one of those hard birthdays. The body's aching more and I can't pretend I can wear those stillettos that are in all the magazines. So I decided to scrap a 12 x 12 memory book for my 60th year. And as it turns out I'm so excited by the idea that I'm making sure to capture all the moments I would have glossed over and maybe forgotten.
I started out by just trying to scrap my favorite old pictures but soon it became clear that it would be great to make a 12 x12 memory book of my family tree. I have very few photos of the older generations so I'm concentrating on My mother's side from her grandparents on down. It's turning into an awesome keepsake by putting a paragraph about the person on the left and a full page scrapped page with their pictures on the right.

For the round picture frame I combined BMU_SS EMB_BBB_Metal-LgCircle_B. with a BMU Back Porch embellishment button to make an old fashioned picture frame.
Other elements used were:
BMU Holiday Lights
BMU Yesteryear
BMU Ephemera
BMU A Gardeners Diary
KVE Fragments
