I retired in May 2008 after 34 years in education. I LOVE to crochet but I wanted an additional hobby after retirement and I stumbled on digital scrapbooking. I subscribed to the free newsletter and have collected all the freebies as well as purchasing several kits and Ro's Secrets Software. I have only done two small projects and two birth announcements. I really need to force myself to make some pages and get with it but I am known for procrastinating. I love to admire all the beautiful layouts in the newsletter and the gallery. I hope joining the message board instead of lurking in it will inspire to get something done and post it.

I have been married for almost 39 years and have two grown daughters. We have one grandson, Kaiden, age 3 and one granddaughter, Mailee, age 1 I live in Amarillo, Texas which is right in the center of the Panhandle of Texas. Amarillo is closer to three other state capitols than it is to the capitol of Texas, Austin. Both my daughters live in the southern part of Houston, Texas and it is almost a 12 hour drive to see them.
