Hi Everyone!

My name is Lisa and I LOVE digital scrapbooking. Every time I talk to a friend about digital scrapbooking they think I'm trying to sell them something. Lol, I just get so excited I've been lurking at the message board for the past two years and have finally decided to join in the conversation. There are so many good GOOD people here and we all share the same hobby!

I discovered digital scrapbooking because over several years of living abroad as a volunteer English teacher I took literally thousands of pictures and traditional scrapbooking simply wasn’t going to cut it with all of the plans I had in mind for my pictures. Three years ago I didn’t know digital scrapbooking existed and, to be honest, for a while I thought I invented it! I started with Microsoft Publisher and thought it could do everything I could possibly need for my digital scrapbooking. Then I found Adobe Elements and... was intimidated at first but then I REALLY caught the scraping bug. Within a few weeks I was dissatisfied with my limitations on what I could do and I was enjoying the learning process so much that I... enrolled in a Graphic Design program at my nearest Technical College. I'm hooked. I'm still a student but its the first school program I've ever been in that I am passionately excited about.

A bit more about me: I've worked for a ski resort in Park City for the last five winter seasons and lived in Japan, Russia, and China serving as a volunteer in the off-season. I love animals, especially cats and will get one as soon as I know I'm going to stay put for awhile. I have an amazing family. I have six sisters, one brother, and two remarkable parents. We all call beautiful Pleasant Grove, Utah home.

I'm excited to continue learning and creating along with everyone here!
