    Jode - yes we do notice the same things! I carefully looked for your flower on your layout, since we'd had the conversation and thought it was great how you got it in there!
    I noticed you are in Australia. How neat! I am here in the East coast USA and right now it's almost 6:30 pm and I just had dinner! Have a great day...

    Thanks so much for your comments on my Ferris Wheel layout! I was so excited that you noticed the rope flower for a boy.. I went crazy trying to figure out how to put a flower on the page - nothing worked with a little boy until I found that one and was quite proud when I did. So, THANKS! for noticing! :)

    Thank you for all your lovely comments on my layouts. The hospital where the babies were born, always gives the fathers a flag to plant. Alec got two. This is not a custom that I know. I thought I would share it because he was so proud when he did it.I actually think it's such a lovely idea.

    It rained all day but we had a great day getting family portraits done and spending time with my kids and friends and family. This time last year I had just had double mastectomy and was bald from ongoing chemo so this year was a double celebration :-)woohoo 40!

    Awww....didn't mean to make you tear up. Our family lost a very special cousin after a 4-year battle with cancer...she chronicled her victories and set-backs regularly, which I thought was so courageous. I think anytime someone is willing to share their experience, strength and hope it helps and touches so many around them. It is such a selfless act. So happy you are willing to share yours.

    Thanks for you kind comments, Jode! I had fun with the monochromatic (almost) LO. It was a change for me. Kuler is great fun. If you work with Photoshop it is built in, or you can work at their free site. Have fun!
