Starting my b&w page and seeing lots of moving b&w birds, what is a group of penguins called?   :dancing_penguin:  :dancing_penguin:  :dancing_penguin:

Per Google: A group of penguins is called a colony, a rookery or a Waddle, but these terms are typically used for a group of penguins on land. A group of penguins floating in the ocean is called a raft.

Sorry, tt doesn't say what a group of dancing penguins is called, lol

Nobody panic but I've fallen overboard! And not to worry, I've climbed aboard a raft of penguins and we've drifted to a remote island. Must be very, very quiet, we're hunting the elusive mojo!

I know what you mean, Kelly.  I always have trouble with things like that, what I do is imagine in my mind how the big frame would be and then that the teapot would be ½ that size (or whatever) and I try to resize that way.   Not very scientific, but it usually looks ok.

I think your layout proportions look ok.  I'll be watching this to see if someone has a "real" answer!   ;)

Thanks, Marilyn. I usually just eye ball it until I think it looks ok.

If you select an image, hold down your shift key, and drag a corner while holding it down, and it resizes in proportion. Hth. On the shadows (they are my favorite) I just go down the list and choose the one I think looks best. I find myself using the vellum great a lot for some reason. You can also create layers within the layer that puts the shadow on it's own layer. That way you can move the opacity or add a blur to it.

Thanks, Andrea. I tried the holding down the shift key and it worked until I added the serving tray. It was smaller than the teacups. I did like how it easy was to pull all the other elements. I tried it in a new 12x12 layout (I usually work in 8x8) Not sure if I could fit everything in an 8x8 using this method though. I'll keep playing around.
