Ladies:

I'm struggling to use this action in Elements 11. I loaded the files just like I do for any other action. The circle action works like a charm and really looks nice. I can't get the hearts and stars action to work. When using the circle action, the action copies the original photo and then three pattern files with circles appear that I can adjust if I wish to. When using the stars and hearts actions, after the action copies the original photo, a pattern file appears that looks like textured paper, not like stars or hearts.

I even tried deleting the stars and hearts atn files and reloading them but that didn't work either.

Any help with this would really be appreciated.

Ladies:

I have a Canon t3i camera -- which I love! When I download the photos from the camera to the computer, they are sized 72 dpi. I then use a software program to resize them to 300 dpi. Does anyone know if I can change the 72 dpi setting on the camera to 300 dpi? I would love to eliminate the resizing step, especially since I returned from vacation with hundreds of photos.

Ladies:

I'm sure I messed up somewhere but don't know where. When starting a new project in Elements 11, I used to click Ctrl N and the dimensions of the previous new file would appear. I must have changed something because now Ctrl N defaults to Clipboard, grayscale and some tiny dimensions, regardless of what the size of the previous file was.

Does anyone have any idea how to reverse this?

I see where several of you recommended Staples Photo Matte Supreme paper for photo cards. What type/kind of card stock would you recommend for me to use in making cards and matting for the cards described in the February 21, 2013, blog by Lei?

What is the best equipment to buy to scan slides at home? My parents have hundreds of slides that are rapidly deteriorating. It would be cost prohibitive to send the slides to a scanning service.
