Hi everyone. Thank you all do much for the thoughts and prayers. Oh. The Power of Prayer. We are on Day 5 today without power. And it's HOT!!!!! Generator keeping us as comfortable as it could. I'm just grateful that I'm not dealing with the flooding as they are just south and east of us. We took a direct hit and let me tell you.. It was awful! When the eye came over, it was the first for me, it was not all what I expected. It was calm. You've all heard "the calm before the storm"? Well it was just that. Thought I'd see sunny skies in the eye. Nooottttt. The back side was bad too. But, we survived with no structural damage. Probably saved because it was a Cat 1. Alot of tree mess. No Internet and mediocre cell service at best. I'm missing downloading my monthly content. Lol. Kathy and Ang-- yes. We must get together since we're do darn close. After this mess is over we will plan something. Y'all take care over there. And thanks do
Much again for your continued prayers and thoughts. Love you all. --Paula -

Hi all. Just checking in. We lost power at 6:00 am this morning. Man. It was a rough night. Not being able to see is awful. Was so glad to see daylight today. Was up all night. No sleeping in this krap. Looks like the eye will be passing right over us before lunch or shortly thereafter. Then, we're back for more after that. Pounding until tomorrow sometimes before it slacks tomorrow. It's a mess here down my subdivision. No structural damage. Just trees, etc. I lost my bottlebrush tree. What are my hummingbirds going to do? Lol. I'll check back in tomorrow if I can. Bitzee--- hope you all are doing well. I see you're getting a pounding as well. This thing is huge. Stay safe. God speed. Love you all. -

Good morning all. First of all, Bitzee-- y'all take care in Covington. We're all in this together. The weather is starting to deteriorate rapidly her in the River parishes. At this point it doesn't matter where you are here, you will get hammered. Can't run. Can't hide. It is what it is. Breathe. Continue to pray for all of our safety and no loss of life to anyone. Got the piņa coladas ready to go. Isaac... Let's do this! Love you ladies. I'll talk to you all in a few days, hopefully. -
