    DNG would be the way to go. DNG is an open format so what is good about that is if Adobe 'was' to disappear you can still open all your files in other editiors and NOT be locked to Adobe, Apple, Canon, Nikon or any companys standard format. DNG also offers a slight compression for smaller files WITHOUT loss so that is a win win as well.

    {Update} the White MDF is difficult to glue the lables for the month too... I'm in process to address but the next ones I make will be from Wood, and then stain/paint it and glue the lables on alot easier. The MDF is too slick (Anyone have a good glue for that type of material?

    Just an update on this, the final photo arrived and it's all framed up with a 3mm backer board to keep it from bending since it's so big.
    WOW, it is VERY VERY nice... Total cost was around $120 and if I sold it through my photography business I would have to charge around $400 - $500 with the editing work but man is it nice.

    Well worth the effort!

    Thanks for all the great reply's and motivation.

    I have one more change that I thought of and to complete the whole "Family" theme this originally started out as a daughter montage but I'm going to get an updated photo of my wife and I and replace the center photo with the two of us and maybe make it slightly bigger than the current one.

    Minor change but will be a nice touch. And then off to the printer :)
