I was excited to purchase the Silhouette Actions although I realize that it is probably above my level of expertise. I downloaded the Mac tutorial but it explains how to use it in PSE and I have PS CS6. I do the first step but don't know how to "darken" the image as they do with a slider in PSE. She explains that you can skip a step when using PS, but I think that is the magic wand part? Sorry, frustrated.

Can anyone tell me how to justify text? I don't see that option in the tool bar at the top (only to align right, left or center). I love Photoshop but have a LOT of trouble working with text!

I have a somewhat new question about Pocket Life. I recently bought some items in the boutique and got a March Pocket Life as a freebie-- I don't get it - are there special page
protectors that you put the various photos and embellishments in? If so, where do you purchase them? I really wanted to do the yearlong challenge (forget what it's called) this year but didn't start because 1) I don't think I have the time to do such a page each week and 2) as empty nesters, we don't have that much going on - work, rest from work. Oh and 3) I'm not a very good photographer. But the Pocket Life concept intrigues me... please explain!

Hi - I have been here for a while a learned SO MUCH. I have done the video course etc and there isn't a day when I don't at least read the newsletter and cruise the forum. However when I first was here I asked a lot of questions and haven't done so recently. Partly, it is because I always come here. Which comes me to my question: - I saw that no one had been one the site I thought I should post on since early January. I want answers!
Anyway, I am a long time paper scrapper newbie digital scrapper and lousy photo (not to mention an empty nester). I never thought to keep the negatives of my old photos so everything in the books. I have read about the Flip-Pal but the idea that you have to "sew" images back together makes me nervous. I am not "techy".

Hi - it's been a while since I asked a question but this is one I've really wondered about. I just recently started digitally scrapping after years of doing it the traditional way. All of my "good" photos are in scrapbooks and most were prior to digital (and I didn't have the foresight to keep the negatives - duh!). I have been wondering about hand scanning these photos so I can re-do them digitally. Is it possible to get good quality photos with a hand scanner? If anyone has experience with this, any advice would be appreciated - brand, etc. I have a Mac, if that matters.
