Why Won't My Picture Upload?

06 February 2006 - 04:55 PM

I am trying to upload my very first digital scrapbook page ever, but the gallery won't seem to take it. I am doing it in the family and kids forum under babies. I browsed and inserted the correct file (in jpeg format...it was originally a Kodak Easyshare document, but I converted it). When I try to post it the blue progress bar fills up, but then nothing ever happens. :banghead: Help, please!

Help With A Purchase!

25 January 2006 - 05:40 PM

I purchased the PSE3.0 tutorial and downloaded one of the sections, but I don't know where it went! :blondmoment: I thought it went to Temporary Internet Files, but I can't find it. Has anyone else had this problem? I am still fairly computer illiterate, so it may take me a few tries. Hopefully, I won't use up all 12 viewings before getting it right!

Thank you!

Overwhelmed With Programs!

25 January 2006 - 12:07 PM

Okay, I am a TOTAL newbie, and I have no idea what to do. I have shoeboxes full of photos, a few disks with photos on them, and photos all over my hard drive (some in Kodak Easy Share, and some in other programs that were already on my computer such as MGI PhotoSuite). :mad-at-computer:
Also, I have PSE 3.0 and I want to start using it to create scrapbook pages. My problem is this: Do I need to store all of the pictures from my computer in PSE, or should I just pull them from other folders as I need them? The "tagging" feature in PSE is very helpful, but when I pull pictures into PSE form other places, it just seems like I am wasting memory by storing photos in several places. What do you do? Thank you!!!

Adobe/kodak Questions From A Newbie

18 January 2006 - 04:10 PM

Hello! As a military wife I am REALLY excited about digital scrapbooking. Hubby HATES the clutter involved with traditional methods and moving from place to place makes it really tough to establish a good place to scrapbook.

So, now I want to digitally scrapbook all of my photos. I have lots of pictures on the computer, but I am having trouble getting them all in one place. I want to have them all in my Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer, tagged, labeled and easy to access...a considerable feat considering how many there are!

Plus, I have a new Kodak EasyShare camera that automatically loads pictures into the EasyShare program. How do I get these pictures into the Adobe Organizer? When I go to the "Get Pictures" function on Adobe, I am unable to retrieve pictures from the Kodak program. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong or missing something, but I am very frustrated!

Also, do you all scan in your old pictures? How do you find it easiest to incorporate them into digital scrapbooking?

Thank you!
