Thanks. Yes this is a great kit. I have time to wait and see if someone comes out with a true baby album.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

I did not do a very good job of introducing myself to I will try to correct that now.

I live in WA about an hour south of Seattle. I am a native but will probably need to move when we retire since it is really expensive to live here but a great area. We will see about that in the future. I have been married for 17 years and have two daughters 13 and 11. Both are great kids and why I got into scrapbooking. Since I have switched over to digital I can't believe how much I have gotten done. I was so far behind. Since school started I have gotten my younger daughter all caught up from Preshool through 5th grade! That was also taking a break to spend 3 weeks on jury duty. I will next tackle my older daughter stuff. I am not as far behind on her but still have several years to go.

I am a stay at home Mom and have been since my older daughter was born (1993). I may have to get a part time job in the future but for now I am at home. My husband works for Boeing and he is also mosly working from home so there is always someone around. Before I stopped working I was a computer system support rep. I mosly handled supporting customers who had our computer systems installed and managing their projects. I really liked the job but not the company I worked for so much.

Well that is probably enough to that everyone does not get bored. We do a lot of local traveling and I just bought a new camera so I hope to get some great shots to scrapbook. I use PSE 4.0 and mostly stick to the 8.5 x 11 size and mount them in Creative Memories photo albums. This is what works for me.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Just a suggestion about LO's...if you design at 12X12 you can easily print 8x8. Most of us do. If you want to print 8 1/2 X11 it gives you the top or bottom to journal more than on the LO! I am working on a family calendar that is 8 1/2X11 and I am using my 12X12 LO with a notes area for each month to the left or right of the LO.

I did keep some of my stuff for making cards! LOL

I read that about the 8x8 but then you lose some space that I really need. I don't know, I will see what works best if I ever get PSE working right. All my other stuff is 8.5 x 11 and then I mount them on pages for Creative Memories albums. I really like them that way. So many decisions.

:welcome2: To Scrap Girls! So glad you joined us! I am in the process of going totally digital! I am in the process of selling all my paper stuff to support my Scrap Girls habit! LOL

Looking forward to your LOs!

I did not want to take the time to sell the stuff although the person I gave it to did compensate me in another way. It was nice to get the spaces cleaned up and get it all out of here. I had a lot and it was overwhelming me. Some of it I kept for my girls art project but the rest it outta here!

It will be awhile before I post any LO since I am still trying to learn PSE 4.0. I have been using other programs but I really like the way you can make a more layered look by using drop shadows in PSE. It will take we some time. I also am doing all 8.5 x 11 layouts so that will take some messing around. I think the best way is to cut the 12 x12 down (how to do this is another mater) instead of resize since that seems to distort the patterns. So..... it will be awhile.

Thanks to all for the welcome.
P.S. BooHoo, the Seahawks lost. They stunk!

Hi there Patriicia, Welcome to ScrapGirls! :) So glad you're here and can't wait to see some of your layouts, :). As for going totally digital, isn't it great not having to put away supplies and clean up after doing a layout, ;).

Yes it is so much easier and I see that you are from Kelso. Enjoying the rain! It is pouring here. Thanks for the post.
