Ok, this is for that house-warming gift I'm doing, and this is where the house makeover started. Here's my (mostly) black and white layout. This is going in my daughter's animal album - due to be delivered in just about two weeks. This is the track that she worked the horses out on during the winter. I have GOT to stop putting so much in my layouts! The paperwork! The paperwork! I used: Papers: CFR_CGO_ PaperTemplate Birds.png TDO_Florence_Special.jpg Brush: JHI_LifeQuotes2_Special_CompassBrush.png Journaling tag: CFR_JSK_Journal-Box-Magenta.png Butterfly: From the Grunge collection Flowers: Rose - Anna Benjmin/Paper Moons Metal Flowers: manu_b_metalflower (9).png Wires: From the LCO_WireWorks_Borders collection From New Wires by Marcee Duggar Newspaper frames: designing-on-the-edge-newspaperframes

This diningroom was totally trashed prior to this "renew". The house had been owned by two guys and who knows how many dogs, and was repossessed due to non-payment of the mortgage. It took a lot of work to get it to where it is in these pictures. Journaling says: Amazing what it took to get this room done. Besides the massive amount of painting and wallpapering, the bookshelves had to be built and installed - quite the job. I used: Papers - Spiced Cider Brad - SG_Refresh_MRE_BradMetal.png Belt - Element_DragonFly_Ribbon.png Alpha - Copper Button and Torn Paper Tea bag tag - MST_SS_LYO_TeaBagTagsSpecial_Ivory.png

This is my entry for this challenge. For once, I DIDN'T start this one in advance. The only "primary" color I used was yellow. This is my daughter as a one-year old. While she was learning to walk, she would get tired and want to be picked up. She'd reach up and say "upa upa!". Every time I see this picture I remember that! I used: The Vintage Nursery Set The Antique Embellishment Set SG Refesh DMI Paper plus two from Tina Chambers The word art is also from Tina Chambers
